Tennis elbow pain is often caused by repetitive straining of the arm muscles. The main difference to golfers elbow pain is that it is often more painful on the outside of the elbow.

Symptoms people often describe can range from difficulty gripping and holding things, soreness and pain with computer use of lifting cups, and sometimes even numbness and tingling down into the hand and fingers.

Tennis players tend to grip and use their arms a lot during their sport with a reported 50% experiencing elbow pain.
